Shop the post: double shirts in the wild
Now the sweaters are off, it’s time to think about shirts. Why wear one when you can wear two (or three)? A small button-down under a bigger one worn undone. Two identical, worn unbuttoned over a tee. Two different styles, or the same style with contrasting stripes.

Did you do a double take? Hed Mayner stitched two shirts together (below) to combine them into one garment.
Two identical medium-weight, just-oversize-enough shirts (below). Look for thick cotton with a box pleat at the back for extra room. Drake’s men’s Oxford cotton shirts* are a good shout. I also love the pyjama stripes at J.Crew* (whose size range includes petites).
