THE DRG STYLE INDEX: DIOR, GUCCI, LEVI’S, BURBERRY, THE OUTNET
Here’s the latest weekly DRG STYLE INDEX ranking, a round-up of the brands currently buzzing on my radar…
1. DIOR DRAMAS
What a shocker to hear of Raf’s impending departure from Dior! The general consensus is that he has done the right thing in jumping off the treadmill, so the question is what will he do as a free agent if he doesn’t go to another brand? There’s another question for me. Will Peter Philips stay put at Dior without his partner in crime?
Gucci’s digital strategy is not half bad and it’s just got even better. U.S and Canada get the first roll-out, with Europe, Australia and Asia having to hold tight til 2016
3. BURBERRY GOES GRUNGE

4. INTRODUCING LEVI’S LEATHERGOODS
How did I not know that Levi’s had a heritage in leathergoods? Well now it’s decided it wants to shout about it, with a dedicated line launching for SS16 with prices around £40-£360 (which will be for the saddlebag). It’s all utilitarian vegetable-tanned leather and includes belts, bags wallets and trinket trays. And of course I want every little piece of it…
5. OUTNET BEAUTY JUST ARRIVED
The Outnet just got a little bit more addictive. The Net-a-Porter spin-off that sells past-season collections at a discount is now also selling Beauty. So far brands include REN, Lipstick Queen, This Works and Goldfaden MD. Click here to shop…
