Power portholes at Craig Green
I’m sitting out LC:M this season but I enjoyed watching the Craig Green SS16 show via Caroline Issa’s Periscope – it felt a bit like I was sitting on her lap!
Like many ‘menswear’ designers, Green showed female models on his runway and certainly lots of the pieces looked interchangeable. One Periscope commenter called it ‘martial arts chic’, and there was a sense of that in the wrapped jackets and judo pants.
I really like the tops that had fabric passed through two holes in the chest (to symbolise ‘power,’ apparently). I’d definitely wear those. And the simpler tops (on boys) with knotted chest protrusions…
